Clothes Zine
Clothes Zine is a print format zine that explores the idea of tattoos as clothing, a permanent form a self expression for wearers to adorn. The zine combines photography, poetry, and personal anecdotes to portray the feeling of comfort and control that tattoos provide.
The zine explores tactile methods of production throughout the typography and binding of the zine. The zine is digitally printed, run through the letterpress for cover typography, and saddle stitch bound using a sewing machine.

The zine provides accounts from five people who cloth themselves with tattoos—Brooke, Rae, Alyssa, Maiya, and Gabrielle, and features images of Rae and Maiya throughout the zine. Images were directed and shot digitally by Emily Oberg.
